The Celestial Tai Chi College of Australia

The Celestial Tai Chi College of Australia was found in January 1990 by two Chinese Masters, both of whom have credentials from their native Asian countries. They are Snr Master EngChor Khor, J.P. and Master Chin Min Lian. However the roots of the Celestial Tai Chi College could be traced to 1976 when Master EngChor Khor began teaching Tai Chi in Australia.


Snr Master EngChor

Snr Master EngChor is a qulified International Tai Chi and Wushu Judge, a qualification not held by many outside China. He was a Gold medallist at the 1986 International Tai Chi Tournament in China. In 1988 Snr Master Eng Chor Master EngChor attended the international Tai Chi and Wushu seminar conducted by the Chinese Government in Beijing.


Master ChinMin

Master Chin Min is a refined teacher of Tai Chi and an accomplished practitioner of various martial arts. He has been involved in martial arts and later wushu and Tai Chi since 1970.

Master Chin Min

Master Chin Min has conducted research and trained at the Shanghai Institute of Sports, China. In 1986 he emigrated to Australia in his position as an accomplished Tai Chi Teacher …Master Chin Min is a qualified High School teacher, and coupled with his vast experience in martial arts, has made him a sought after teacher of Tai Chi.

The Celestial Tai Chi collegeoperate 15 centers in Melbourne offering day and evening classes in Tai Chi , Chi Qung and various Wushu forms. It has one of the most comprehensive and systematic syllabus for all students and a specialized training program for its instructors and trainee instructours.

The College is active corporate member of The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation and has participated in their various activities. The College is also an active member the Chinese communities in Chinatown. Snr Master EngChor is an active committee member of the Dai Loong (The big Dragon) Association of Melbourne and the Chinese Association for the wellfare of Senior Citizen. Master Chin Min is actively involved with the Museum of Australian and Chinese History where he is a sought after presenter for seminars and short courses. The College is active corporate member of The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation and has participated in their various activities. The College is also an active member the Chinese communities in Chinatown.
